Extra curricular trips

Learners with SEND are included in all aspects of school life including school trips, extra-curricular clubs.

  • We monitor the attendance of pupils with SEND in extra-curricular activities and are proactive in removing any barriers to access.
  • We actively encourage and support pupils with SEND to try new clubs.
  • We use pupil voice to inform the planning of our extracurricular activities.
  • We plan our extra-curricular activities to cater for the school’s SEND cohort. This includes consideration of staffing, group sizes and risk assessments.
