Executive Functioning (Processing)

Including organising, starting, and completing tasks, working memory and flexible thinking.

Executive functioning is a group of mental capacities that monitor and control our behaviour, such as working memory, multitasking, and time management. Neurodivergent learners experience differences in executive functioning, creating obstacles in day-to-day life in a society that expects us to work a certain way, such as meeting deadlines and performing tasks in a certain way.
