Safeguarding
We ensure our safeguarding procedures keep all learners (including learners with SEND) safe.
- Our safeguarding policy is shared and understood by all staff.
- We actively engage with the LA training offer or equivalent. The designated safeguarding leads (DSL) have attended the 3-day LA training (and keep up to date).
- Our staff regularly make use of the Education Safeguarding consultation and advice line.
- Our school is aware of or has previously made appropriate use of the LADO, Risk Assessment Management Process (RAMP).
- Our staff receive appropriate training in positive behaviour management strategies which emphasise de-escalation, positive handling and restraint reduction.
