CYP/Parent Voice

We place high value on CYP and parent voice. This impacts on our practice and provision and celebrates achievement.

  • Our SEND information report is accessible on the school website and is updated annually.

  • Our parents and carers are signposted to the Leeds Local Offer, which highlights local and national sources of support.

  • We host regular formal and informal events to seek the views of parents and carers regarding SEN provision in the setting, e.g. parent/carer surveys, coffee mornings, SEND drop-in sessions.

  • Our learners routinely share their views on SEN provision in the school to help inform policy and practice, e.g. surveys, school Council.

  • We ensure our parents/carers are aware of the range of communication channels available for sharing information about their child, e.g. school-specific messaging apps and email.
